Nadia Capitaine, International Exchange Manager

Nadia Capitaine is responsible for international coordination and exchange between Guangzhou Live and other partners in Europe, Africa, North America and Asia.

Creating partnerships, as well as implementing a programme of Asian and European exchange in the field will be the main task of Nadia Capitaine. She will be the interface between the upcoming European network of performance art organisers, eaan.eu initiated by Infr’Action, and the Asian network of performance art organisers aaan.eu which is created by Guangzhou Live.

Being the organiser and co-founder of the major French action art festival Infr’Action – Festival International d’Art Performance in 2005 as well as of its sister festival Infr’Action Paris in 2009, she has a unique experience in how a performance art festival is organised and functions. She is responsible for the coordination and the management of the team of volunteers that are taking part in the realisation of the event. She facilitates the work with the partners, and proceed from analyses and concrete studies, with the technical elaboration of a project concerning all or a part of the actions to be taken. Further she is responsible for logistics and coordination in its realisation.

Nadia has followed (2004) an international educational programme in project management Globalverkstan (the Global Workshop), conceived for social actors and the staff of NGO’s (Non-Government Organisations) engagement in civil society. Her other professional experiences range from work as a administrative assistant in actors and artist agencies, and public relation companies.
